    Mr. Keith Stewart joins the PLT team after eight years as a teacher-leader at Erie High School. In his former position, he taught all levels of high school and dual credit English, served on several school improvement and technology integration committees, and worked collaboratively to improve the district work environment and terms of labor as an executive officer in his local teachers’ union. A proud alumnus of Prophetstown High School (2006), Mr. Stewart possesses a B.S. degree in Secondary English/Language Arts Education from Greenville College (2010), an M.A. in English from Western Illinois University (2013), and an M.S.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Western Illinois University (2017).  He and his wife Shae live in Prophetstown with their three children: Hollyn, Jordyn, and Ethan.

     Derick Cox






    Mr. Derick Cox is your Dean of Students and Athletic Director at the 6-12 Campus. Mr Cox is a 1998 graduate from Prophetstown High School and received a Bachelors in Technology Education from Illinois State University (2004). Mr. Cox has 15 years of experience as an industrial technology teacher before venturing into administration. In addition to teaching, Mr. Cox spent 23 years as a high school assistant and head coach within the EP and Rock Falls wrestling and football programs. He also has two other advanced degrees including a Masters in Technology and Innovation from Ashford University (2009) and a Masters in Educational Leadership from American College of Education (2019). Mr. Cox returns to Prophetstown with his two children (Dena and Cullen) who are students of the district.
